The Sun Flows in Pisces

February 18 – the Sun enters Pisces

at 3:50 PM PST (23:50 GMT) where it stays until the Aries Ram takes over March 20 at 3:45 PM PDT (15:45 GMT)

As the last sign of the zodiac, Pisces represents the final stage of our human journey. Pisces is the last water sign and operates in a mutable (changing, adaptable) mode. Pisces energy is emotional, subtle, fluid, and super sensitive. We can feel lost and disoriented in the Pisces zone. However, we can also take advantage of this nebulous, dissolving, and forgiving energy to (1) release the past, (2) let go of what no longer serves us, (3) give up fear-based programs and patterns, and (4) establish, enjoy, and be served by our Divine Connection.

We don’t have to understand rationally what is happening and, in fact, our intellect just gets in the way. We can be very happy in Pisces territory if we relax, release our resistance, and notice the ever-present Infinite Force animating all life.

In the Pisces zone we may have the feeling that things are falling apart and that nothing has come together in a new form yet. The past is unraveling, and the future is as yet unknown. This is the very nature of the last phase of a cycle and twelfth house/Pisces energies. If you have your own version of things disappearing without a clear definition of what is next, you are in divine alignment with the way things are at the moment. Trust. Things are changing and being reconfigured so we can both clear out what no longer works for us and be open to new opportunities.

February 18 – Aquarius New Moon

3:47 PM PST (23:47 GMT) at 29 degrees 29 minutes!

Less than a minute before the Sun enters Pisces, the second Aquarian New Moon encourages us to work together as we enter the waters of the Unknown. The fifth of six consecutive New Moons that form at the first or last degree on the sign, we must finish up the past, let go of what we have been clinging to, and be ready for the future. The Chinese New Year begins at this New Moon.

February 19 – Chinese Year of the Sheep

February 19 we move from the Year of the Horse to the Year of the Sheep. True to the nature of the Horse, last year felt like a trip to the races. The energy was like wild horses with so much to do and get done. The energy of the Year of the Sheep is much different. One image of Sheep is peaceful animals at a petting zoo. They are so relaxed that they are not riled by unpredictable children hugging, petting, and pulling on these docile animals. Maybe you can already feel that the Year of the Sheep is going to be a much more peaceful year. BTW, take advantage of the calmer energy. The following Year of the Monkey we will be swinging from tree to tree and loving it.

It is interesting how the shifts in energy influence us before we are even conscious of them. Before thinking about the Year of the Sheep, I decided that the theme of my workshops in the U.S. and on my fall 2014 European tour would be Your Path to Inner Peace.

Have things similarity shifted in your life? Has your mood inexplicably changed? Are you calmer and less agitated? Maybe you are letting go of control, giving up the struggle mode, being more relaxed, and more easily accepting the way things are. I really feel that Inner Peace is Possible.

February 22-23 – March 16 – Venus is in Aries

February 20 – March 3 – Mars is in Aries

Venus and Mars in Aries while the Sun is in Pisces helps us focus on our path of self-realization. Self-focus is necessary to not get lost in Pisces’ churning waters.

March 5 – Virgo Full Moon

10:05 AM PST (6:05 PM GMT)

Pisces’ polarity Virgo helps the Fish to develop a specialized skill, which is necessary to help stabilize and focus its watery energy. Pisces needs to ground its energy, which is naturally in the clouds and often out of the body. When Pisces’ special skill is used to serve others, it can find a solution to a common Pisces cliché –Serve or suffer. Earth Mother Virgo gives Pisces a container. A skill that serves others gives Pisces a way to express its natural love and compassion.

Pisces and Virgo symbolize the interaction and integration of the material and spiritual worlds. Virgo uses its discriminating intellect to organize and achieve practical results. Virgo’s worldly efficiency, analysis, and reason can bring Pisces dreams into reality. Pisces uses intuition and feelings to gather information and to make decisions. Virgo makes it possible to function in this world. Pisces helps us maintain our connection with Spirit.

Pisces knows that everything is made up of energy, interconnected, and constantly changing. (Albert Einstein was a Pisces. Ask Pisces how to make sense of a complex world and universe where everything is happening at once. The Fish will tell you, ‘We don’t.’ But if we pay attention, we find Spirit everywhere in the material world. Pisces comfort zone is with the mystery, which, when we feel it deeply, awakens into mystical ecstasy.

March 16 – Final, Seventh Uranus/Pluto Square

March 16 is the seventh and final square between revolutionary Uranus and evolutionary Pluto. After this date Uranus and Pluto will gradually distance themselves from each other. By the end of March, Uranus will move to 16 degrees and then to 17 degrees in mid April. Pluto will remain at 15 degrees through the first of June. So whatever planets in your birth chart are within 14-16 degrees (and beyond) will continue to be subject to Pluto’s deep introspection and transformation, but without the radical effect of Uranus.

The intense interaction of these two outer planets has been the major force in our lives since June 2012. This configuration is about profound change and awakening in our personal reality and the collective consciousness. We have each been challenged in our own special way to transform both our inner and our outer lives. The first square was at 8 degrees. The last one is at 15 degrees.

Although we can each identify our major challenges in the last 3 years, we can gain further insight into what is being activated by identifying in your birth chart any planets that are at 8-15 degrees of any sign. We can also identify where 8-15 Aries and Capricorn fall in our birth chart. These are the arenas being activated by the Uranus/Pluto square.

At Time of Resolution and Assessment

In some way a deep inner awakening has happened within each of us. We can now become aware of this shift and assess our evolution of consciousness. Somehow, somewhere you will feel a sense of resolution. You will be able to let go and to move on. Take the time to notice completions and how you and your life have changed. You are taking something with you that you didn’t have before. Can you feel more self-confidence, more maturity, and inner strength?

March 3 – Jupiter trines Uranus

Jupiter in Leo and Uranus in Aries make it easy to take action directed by our hearts.

March 11 – Mars joins Uranus and squares Pluto

Mars adds power and commitment to the next phase of our journey. We can explore and expand in many wonderful ways if we see things differently to do things differently. Be wise and courageous. The Universe and your soul are supporting you.

March 20 – Pisces New Moon Solar Eclipse

2:36 AM PDT (9:36 AM GMT) at 29 degrees 27 minutes

The Pisces New Moon Solar Eclipse takes place in the last sign of the zodiac and the last degree of Pisces, less than 3 minutes before the Moons enters Aries, and nine minutes before the Sun moves into Aries announcing — the Spring Equinox (in the northern hemisphere). This is the last of six consecutive New Moons that form at the first or last degree on the sign,

Pisces reminds us that we are on a spiritual journey and that our goal is our conscious reunion with Spirit. How much progress have you made toward this goal in the last year?

The Pisces symbol is two yoked fish swimming harmoniously together. Pisces shows us that the polarities can and naturally swim together in a supportive and harmonious manner. To do so, they must transcend duality and achieve unity of the polarities. A common interpretation of the two fish is that they are swimming in opposite directions. This is often the case for immature Fish. Those who are still in conflict haven’t gotten the essential Pisces message yet.

Solar eclipses are extra powerful new moons. They offer us a moment to clarify our direction, affirm our commitment, release resistance, and recalibrate to a higher level. This New Moon is a good day for meditation. Be quiet and receptive so that you can receive insights and expand your perception of yourself and reality. Neptune, Mercury, and Chiron are also in Pisces, making it easier to listen to our heart and intuition.

Pisces and Self

Pisces is by nature elusive and evasive. The Fish prefer to be in the background. They are natural chameleons, surviving through camouflage, blending, and adapting. The problem is that if they are too adaptable, they don’t know who they are and can be overwhelmed by external and internal forces that make them feel lost and afraid. Pisces needs to develop its separate identity and embody its emotional strength.

Actually Pisces likes the waves of the cosmic ocean. As it immerses itself in the feeling, barriers fall away, and it acquires spiritual knowing. This is our month to ‘Let go and let God.’ *(1)

My adaptation of Verse 14 of the Tao te Ching can guide us in Pisces’ universe.

Approach IT and there is no beginning.

Follow IT and there is no end.

We can’t understand IT, but we can be at one with IT.

In Oneness, we realize where we come from.

In Oneness, we can relax and be at ease in our own life.

We are free when we can enjoy the Oneness with no beginning and no end.

My State of Existence in Beloved Rumi’s words!!!
    I do not exist,
Am not an entity in this world or the next,
Did not descend from Adam and Eve or any origin story.
My place is the placeless, a trace of the traceless.
    Neither body or soul.
    I belong to the Beloved,
Have seen the two worlds as one
And that one call to and know, first, last, outer, inner,
Only that breath breathing human being.
