Everyone needs this information and few have it. As a certified Kundalini Yoga instructor, you will be able to share with others how to thrive in the Aquarian Age.
You don't have to be an expert, but some previous experience of Kundalini Yoga is preferred. Beginners are strongly advised to take the free online course at www.kundaliniyoga.org prior to their arrival in Hawaii. The atmosphere of our course creates a relaxing stress-free environment for students. Aligning with the path of our soul actually requires that we relax, have fun and enjoy ourselves!
Simply being present in Hawaii, and connecting with the energy of this spiritually-charged land, brings a whole new dimension of healing and awareness that is not available anywhere else.
Our center is an ideal base for this course, offering total privacy and seclusion within a lush, natural environment, and at an affordable price. It also provides the nurturing energy that supports us in connecting both with ourselves and with the Earth. Yoga Oasis is situated on the eastern tip of Big Island, 5 miles from the town of Pahoa and about 45 minutes driving time from Hilo Airport. It is only 2 miles from the Ocean, and a short drive to surfing, geo-thermal warm springs, tide pools, snorkeling, kayaking, natural underground saunas, hiking and Kahena black sand beach.
Kundalini Rising is a registered school of Yoga Alliance. Our 26 day course fulfills the Yoga Alliance's international standard for a certified Registered Yoga Teacher. Kundalini Rising School was founded by Guru Rattana, Ph.D. and Guru Kirin, students since 1977 of Kundalini Yoga as brought to the West by Yogi Bhajan. Our mission is to serve and to train teachers and healers to uplift humanity in the transition from the Piscean to the Aquarian Age. We welcome all those who are being called to serve as teachers and healers at this time. Graduating teachers will receive universally recognized teacher certification from Yoga Alliance, the international organization that certifies all programs and teachers, including IKYTA. Yoga Alliance was set up to transcend the boundaries of specific schools and to bring unity to all of the yoga community. This is not an IKYTA course.
Guru Rattana is author of five of the best selling Kundalini yoga and meditation manuals, The Destiny of Women is the Destiny of the World, and Internet e-zines New Millennium Being, and Heartbeat (for members of our Teachers' Forum). Using her expertise in astrology, she helps each student understand the elemental balance of their birth chart, assisting them in working with the energetic blueprint of their soul. She also explains how the North and South Nodes designate the journey of our soul. Students are always amazed at how clearly this information defines the focal point of their spiritual journey. One student shared, "It is like locating the direction of my inner compass." Guru Kirin is a past life intuitive healer and relationship counselor. She teaches the basic concepts of Heart to Heart (Non-violent) Communication, using KY to move everyone into the space where this level of interaction is possible. One woman student was using this approach with her children on the phone the next day with heart-warming results. Guru Kirin also introduces the basic concepts of Tantra, which help us deepen our relationships with partners. Both Guru Rattana and Guru Kirin are KRI certified Kundalini yoga teachers and have a combined teaching experience of nearly 60 years. This inspiring and life-changing course was first offered in San Diego, CA, January-June 2005, in Austin, Texas during October 2005 and March 2006 and then near Hilo, Hawaii in August 2006.
For those of you who have taken other KY trainings, this course will catapult you into an advanced level of professional expertise. Those already certified can also receive Yoga Alliance CEUs (continuing educational units). You will savor the wisdom, kindness and humor of Guru Rattana.
