Sat Pavan has been teaching Bhangra for the past 15 years. Growing up in India and being immersed in the culture and traditions, she picked up Bhangra and Giddha dance. With her natural ability and passion for dance, she found the rhythm and style of Bhangra fun and a great way in which to express herself.
Under the guidance of Yogi Bhajan, she began teaching Bhangra at his Yoga Classes in LA in 1992. He would have her end all his classes with Bhangra. With his support and encouragement she began teaching more and more, and finally at his request put together her Bhangra Workout DVD.
Sat Pavan has performed and taught workshops all over the world, including Mexico, India, England, Canada and the U.S.
