Gurudass Singh Khalsa was born in New York and was raised in Puerto Rico. With a natural gift for music, Gurudass attended the Berkelee College of Music where he focused on guitar and composition.
When he chose to become a Sikh in 1972, he brought with him a musical masala that keeps getting better with time. His natural talent for singing and songwriting have the power to reach a person's soul and create joy in the heart. His songs have become part of the Khalsa traditions.

Gurudass Kaur Khalsa, married to Gurudass Singh, has a voice that is strong and powerful, as well as a special gift for songwriting. Together they create music that is moving and unique. Their musical union seems so perfect it has to be heard to be believed.
They have lived and taught yoga in Spain for over 20 years, and the Spanish influence can be heard throughout their music. They now include their daughter, Simran Simrat Kaur, and her delightful voice can be heard on some of their recordings.
