Elandra Kirsten Meredith is co-compiler of "Yoga for Health and Healing," and also posed for the inside illustrations. She has practiced and taught yoga for decades. Elandra currently teaches yoga in Kilauea, Hawaii, where she is a licensed massage therapist.
Born in Denmark, Elandra emigrated with her family to New Zealand at an early age. An outstanding scholar, she became an expert ballroom dancer, winning awards with the highest marks ever given in New Zealand. At Auckland University, where she majored in languages, Elandra acted in a number of plays, and in later life became an actress.
When she had all imaginable success, she realized something was missing, and that something was a life with deep spiritual meaning. At that time she turned to a spiritual lifestyle, and has since inspired many as a teacher of yoga.

At present, Elandra is designer and leader of Yoga Energy Healing and women's retreats and workshops in Hawaii, California, and New Zealand. In addition, she is a Reiki Master and Teacher.
Elandra and her husband, Antion (Vikram Singh), are creators of the very beautiful Mystical Voice Sound Healing Workshops and Sound Healing Events. She performs backing vocals for him in the enchanting "One in the Goddess" CD. Elandra and Antion also enjoy being celebrants for people who come to Kauai to be married.
