Songs of the Khalsa Youth Camp
Sat Nam is full of fun - an album of songs and mantras specially written for children of all ages. In 2012 Snatam Kaur and Siri Nam Singh spent 2 weeks at the annual Khalsa Youth Camp in the Jemez Mountains of Northern New Mexico, recording this album with the vibrant children they found there, as they share with them their favorite songs. Snatam’s own youthful joy and exuberance is accompanied by children whose voices fill the music with innocence and wonder. Simple lessons are woven through the music with a light touch in songs as well as simple mantras accessible to children.
